Quick Start
Connect Your Ticker to WiFi
Get online in under a minute — phone or laptop, no app needed.

Plug it in
Power up the ticker with the supplied USB cable. You’ll see the welcome splash, then a message asking you to set up WiFi.

Join the “DisplaySetup” network
On your phone or laptop, open WiFi settings and connect to DisplaySetup. The setup page should open automatically.
Didn’t pop up? Open a browser and go to
http://192.168.4.1.3
Pick your home WiFi
Choose your network from the list, type your WiFi password, and tap Save. The ticker will reboot and join your network.
2.4 GHz only. The ticker doesn’t see 5 GHz networks. Most routers broadcast both — just pick the 2.4 GHz one.

Open the dashboard
Back on your home WiFi, open a browser on any device and visit http://ticker.local. From here you pick the active app, set brightness, add API keys, and customize everything.
Can’t reach it? Some older Windows/Android setups don’t resolve
.local names. The ticker prints its IP address on the matrix at boot — type that into your browser instead.5
Need to switch networks later?
Hold the button on the back of the ticker for 10 seconds. The DisplaySetup network comes back so you can pick a new WiFi. All your other settings stay put.
That’s it — you’re live.
